Two years ago, the North American Association of
Telecommunications Dealers formed a division called the International
Association of Telecommunications Dealers in order to expand our reach across
the Atlantic Ocean. Last year, we held
our first meeting in Europe. This year,
we continue the tradition. In order to
encourage and foster the growth an international NATD, we are making this
meeting in London the "summer meeting" of the NATD.
We hope that the North
American Members of NATD will join us in this growing international market
along with our colleagues and members from Europe. There will be Phillips, CISCO, Avaya, Siemens, Nortel, Alcatel,
Ericson and other such dealers present.
The agenda will consist of both educational sessions and networking
opportunities.

Unified Solutions tops professional services market NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. (NEC) announced its success in
InfoTech's InfoTrack for Enterprise Services: Professional Services Track
report, published in December 2005. NEC excelled in several key categories
outlined in the report, including installation and implementation (I & I)
of voice systems, applications and data networking equipment. In addition,
NEC's security services offerings ranked highest among customers, receiving a
perfect score in the enterprise segment. Enterprise buyers gave NEC's voice
installation service an overall customer satisfaction rating of 4.35 out of a
possible 5, with 5 being "extremely satisfied," the highest score
received by any provider included in the report. In addition, enterprise
end-users indicated they would "definitely" consider purchasing
future integration and implementation of voice applications from NEC.

Nortel
Nortel Networks warns of wider losses Nortel Networks cautioned that its first-quarter loss
would be slightly higher than the $48m loss for the same period last year.
Revenues are expected to be flat at best. Reiterating pledges to provide full
financial transparency and improve its corporate governance standards, the
Ontario-based telecommunications equipment maker also revised its gross
margin projection for the year to 40 percent of revenue and operating
expenses, from the "low 40s" estimate provided in March. Adverse
currency movements and growth-related expenses have offset productivity
gains. The revisions were contained in a fortnightly report to Canadian
securities regulators that Nortel is required to make as part of continuing
investigations into accounting irregularities. Nortel executives told
analysts that competition was intense but that they expected improved demand
in the second half of this year. Revenues for the year as a whole are
expected to grow by close to 10 percent. The company also provided more
details of its business plans, saying it aimed for a market share of at least
20 percent in all its products. Visit www.nortelnetworks.com. Flextronics, Nortel
complete transfer of Calgary operations Flextronics and Nortel have completed the transfer of the
manufacturing operations and related assets - including product integration,
testing, repair and logistics operations - of Nortel's Systems House in Calgary
to Flextronics. Approximately 650 employees in Calgary will transfer to
Flextronics as part of the final phase of the previously announced agreement.
Joel Hackney, senior vice president of Global Operations and Quality at
Nortel, said the goal from the beginning was to create an industry-leading
supply chain: "Working with Flextronics, our customers can expect
superior value through delivery agility, global reach, cost competitiveness,
excellent quality and skilled people. This initiative was unprecedented in
our industry in terms of size and scope. We have transferred essentially all
of our remaining major manufacturing activities to a world-class electronics
manufacturing services provider, leaving Nortel to focus on making business
simple for its customers through development and integration of world-class
communications and networking solutions.” Visit www.flextronics.com
